Application

PRODUKT KD 72120 is a high-performance dispersant. Adding it to slurries helps prepare high-solid-content lithium-ion battery electrode slurries. Higher solid content not only accelerates the electrode drying process but also improves electrode manufacturing efficiency; especially when applied in negative electrode slurries, it can significantly shorten the dispersion time of carbon black and other conductive carbons. Compared with standard systems without dispersants, adding this product can enhance particle stability, reduce slurry viscosity, and increase solid content.

Dosage Recommendation: According to actual process requirements, the recommended dosage is 1-5% of the positive or negative electrode material in the slurry.

Usage Method: First mix PRODUKT KD 72120 with the solvent, then add the positive/negative electrode materials and mix thoroughly. It is recommended to monitor the change in particle size over dispersion time to determine the optimal dispersion duration for the slurry.
