Application

SILIPLAST LP 65 is a ready-to-use medium for the preparation of oxide ceramic and nonoxide ceramic bodies by the hot moulding process (low-pressure injection moulding).
In many cases, the use of SILIPLAST LP 65 achieves a higher pigment absorption than with SILIPLAST LP 13.
SILIPLAST LP 65 is especially suitable for the hot moulding of filigrained geometries.
Debinding is carried out purely thermically and during the heating up process SILIPLAST LP 65 shows an even burn out behaviour over a wide temperature interval.
The application quantity depends on the body composition as well as on the particle size distribution. For aluminium oxide bodies it would be for example about 12 % by weight.
