Application

OPTAPIX PS 94 is a chloride- and sulphate-free temporary binder that is used for abrasive tool bodies. It brings about an increase in the green breaking strength.
The amount added is between 0.5 and 2.0 % of the solids content of the body, depending on the particle size distribution.
OPTAPIX PS 94 is also suitable for build-up granulation. It is added as approx. 10 – 20 % stock solution. On account of its surface active components, the primary particles are readily wettened and hence an even granulate structure is achieved.
