Application

ZUSOPLAST C 39 is an organic additive, which on account of its high swelling capacity has a plasticizing effect when added in small quantities.
The use of ZUSOPLAST C 39 makes it possible to process non-plastic oxide ceramic and non-oxide ceramic materials by extrusion.
As a result of swelling with the uptake of mixing water, there is also an improvement of green and dry breaking strengths, in addition to the plasticizing properties.
Depending on the particle size distribution, the amount added is between 0.5 and 3.0%, related to the solids content of the body.
