Application

ZUSOPLAST G 63 is an alkali-free lubricating and pressing aid. It is used to increase lubrication of extrusion bodies in the screw press and die. At the same time the wall friction is reduced in the press cylinder.
The formation of lubricating layers, that bring about a mutual repulsion of the raw material particles, also effects an improvement in plastic properties in many cases.
ZUSOPLAST G 63 can also be used as a pressing agent in dry press bodies.
The additive is particularly characterized by its good wetting properties.
The amount added for dry pressing is approx. 0.2 to 0.5 % and approx. 0.5 to 3.0 % for extrusion bodies, both based on the solids content.
